One of the hottest ring items on the market today is gemstone ring wraps. Seems lots of women got single stone solitaires and they really would like to spice them up! This is a wonderful wrap! It features two 3 mm round cut, natural rubies for a total of .30 ctw. They are a beautiful dark red color, too! Beside each ruby there is also a .10 ct round, natural diamond for a total of .20 ctw. The diamonds are I-1 with a color of IJ. The setting is solid 14k white gold. I have photographed this wrap with a fake diamond solitaire that is 1 ct. That is a pretty good size but I believe the ideal size could go up to approximately 1.3 ct depending upon the cut of the solitaire. I do not have other cuts of solitaires to give you examples but this wrap would go with several cuts. The opening is 5 mm wide (3/16 of an inch) so judge accordingly with the width of your own MOUNTING, not the diamond. The wrap weighs 3 grams and is a size 6.5, easily sizable by your local jeweler.
