The setting is solid 14k yellow gold. The gap between the two sides is 5 mm wide. This means the MOUNTING (not the diamond itself) must be less than that to fit inside without having it adjusted. PLEASE MEASURE! The solitaire in the picture is a 1 ct and that is a good size. But the size of the diamond is not as important as the size of the mounting. However, your jeweler can adjust the bridge of this wrap if your solitaire is a little larger or smaller. The wrap weighs 2.1 grams and is a size 6.5, sizable by your jeweler.
